Eco Club & Health Club
Eco Club plays vital role in creating ecological awareness amongst the future generation.It motivate the students to keep their surroundings green and clean by undertaking plantation of trees & also promotes ethos of conservation of water by minimizing the usage of water. Motivates students to imbibe habits and life style for minimum waste generation, source separation of waste and disposing the waste to the nearest storage point. We also organize tree plantation programs, awareness programmes such as Quiz, essay, painting competitions, rallies, etc.
Health Club looks after total health care of school children of SRRI SPK SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL. Our School serves as a healthy place by helping the students and teachers to do their best and build on their achievements. The ultimate aim of the Health Club is to understand the importance of investing in health to assist in the process of raising the level of health. Regular workshops are held for teachers and students. The club also takes initiative in health camp, etc.
Field Trips/Excursion/Picnics
Field Trips are planned for all the classes thrice in a year, which leads to their practical experience of life. Excursion & Picnics helps the children to become self sufficient and after each and every the children will submit their experience as a report
They learn to live together, adjust and enjoy themselves with their friends responsibly. The school regularly organizes educational tours to various places, where the children accompanied by the teachers go to learn more.
Dramatic & Literary Club
The Drama Club is quite an active club staging plays throughout the year and winning prizes in various inter school fests. Competitions are conducted based on their respective Houses.
House System
The students of our school are divided into four Houses namely Acacia, Begonia, Camellia and Veronica to showcase their individual talents with the help of the House master/mistress.
Sports and other co-curriculum activities are assessed House wise and over all rolling shield is given to the best house according to their performance.
Scouts & Guide
As we know ‘Be Prepared’ is the motto of Scouts & Guide. ‘Be the Best’ is the motto of SPK Schools.
To make the students perfect, punctual, disciplined and to inculcate their helping tendency, universal Brotherhood among the students, we encourage Scouts and Guides in our school. Camps are conducted and students are trained for the Presidential awards.
Creative Corner
Creativity does not enter the Child’s life as a hard and forbidding task to be accomplished but rather as a door through which enters a full creative life.
Art is everywhere, learning arts in a creative corner is very interesting. We have Arts and craft periods to kindle the creativity of the students.
Arts and craft help students to develop an ability to think laterally. It ensures the child to grow into a confident, capable and multi-talented individual. Painting, clay modeling, craft work, collage making etc are encouraged.
Competitions are conducted regularly to share the greater quality and to enhance their Creative skills.

This program is based on life skill modules designed to effect a wholistic development in every child. SALT can be easily integrated and works within the sphere of the school curriculum. It is a yearlong program customized for students from Grade1to Grade 12.

Cultural Competition
A bring out in talent of every students, House wise cultural competition are conducted every year. Each house will participate as solo and group, Tamil, Hindi and English drama. The best house will be honoured for their excellence.

KVPY 11th scholarship Examination
The
Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is an on-going National Program of Fellowships in Basic Sciences, initiated and funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, to attract exceptionally and highly motivated students for pursuing basic science courses and research career in science.
The selection of students is made from those studying in XI standard to 1st year in any undergraduate Program. Based on the performance in the aptitude test, short-listed students are called for an interview which is the final stage of the selection procedure. For receiving a fellowship, both aptitude test and interview marks are considered.
