New Sainik Schools follow ‘Academic Plus Curriculum’ as prescribed by Sainik Schools Society to have a balanced mix of academic rigour, physical activities, NCC, sports and value-based education. Cadets have regular mid-terms and term exams aligned with non-sainik students. Cadets can choose day-boarding or residential option.

NCERT textbooks for all core subjects — English, Second Language (Tamil / Hindi / French), Mathematics, Science, and Social Science, ensuring a strong and structured academic foundation.
Enrichment Periods develop creativity, critical thinking and essential life skills through Library time, Science Lab, Math Lab, News Analysis and Leader in Me program, also builds confidence and real-world skills.
Skill-Based Training helps students develop practical abilities through NCC Drill & Field Craft and First Aid/Self-Defence fosters discipline, confidence, and self-awareness, which are essential life skills.








The admission procedure for new Sainik Schools involves a multi-step process, starting with the All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE). AISSEE is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). This is followed by e-counselling, a medical examination, and final document verification.
Students can join a Sainik school either in Grade VI or in Grade IX. They cannot join in any other grades.
Srri SPK Public Sr.Sec. School will be enrolling cadets for the Sainik vertical classes in the Academic Year 2025-26.
